I've been an artist for my entire life and not in the sense that I focus on selling or showing. In the sense that I have a commitment to transformation. For me, art is about being close to God...a closeness I feel when I create. An ability to be where I am when I am where I am even if I don't like where I am. And to use that as a needed reflection that acts as ground to take my next step. To practice presence and observation and expression. To integrate the spirit and material. To communicate through tangible signal. And ultimately to collect both material and non-material assets that I can take with me wherever I go and have for my tool belt for whatever circumstance that may come. And did I mention love and peace.
