A society organized for individuals seeking to build communication skills.

 

Our mission is to foster confidence and mastery of rhetoric through practice.

 

Participants will regularly practice speaking in front of the group, and will develop and present at minimum a five minute speech. We will work on  speech structure,  non-verbal communication, voice modulation, spontaneous speaking, as well as a strong focus on giving and receiving honest constructive feedback. 

 

Our in-person workshops are held twice a month for 1.5 hours each session. Additionally, we host an 1.5 hour Zoom session once a month where you can practice drills with the group and work on developing your speech. The workshop is ongoing throughout the year and participants can join anytime at a prorated cost. While regular and consistent participation is strongly encouraged, it is not necessary to make every meet. Participants are encouraged to participate year round, as this is a skill best integrated into your life in an ongoing manner.
